Greg established Drama Republic with his long-term colleagues Roanna Benn and Jude Liknaitzky in 2013. Their first production was Hugo Blick’s The Honourable Woman, an eight-part political thriller for BBC / SundanceTV which transmitted in the UK & around the world to great success. In 2014, Drama Republic produced the second series of the extremely popular E4 drama My Mad Fat Diary, written by Tom Bidwell.
In 2015, DR produced the multi award-winning Doctor Foster, a psychological drama for BBC One by dramatist Mike Bartlett, as well as a one-off adaptation of J B Priestley’s extraordinary play, An Inspector Calls which won the Best Single Drama Award at the Broadcasting Press Guild Awards. Greg also executive produced the acclaimed BAFTA-nominated adaptation of Mike Bartlett’s stage play King Charles III.
Greg executive produced Hugo Blick’s Black Earth Rising, which broadcast on BBC Two in Autumn 2018 and was released globally on Netflix in 2019. He also executive produced David Nicholl’s adaptation of his best-selling novel Us for BBC One which premiered in September 2020. Greg also executive produced The Irregulars, a Tom Bidwell series for Netflix, and The English, a 6 part Western series for Amazon and BBC, written and directed by Hugo Blick and starring Emily Blunt, and The Confessions of Frannie Langton, a 4-hour adaptation of Sara Collins’ debut novel for ITV.
